    We use these because when utilized in the correct way and sequence, they have a high impact with a low cost.

    4.  EDUCATION IN MANY FORMS

        Clients are not loyal.

        If you have been in business long then you have been burned by someone you trusted.

        CLIENTS ARE NOT LOYAL. 

        The positive factor in that statement is that you have the opportunity to take work from another laboratory. Without wasting words, you will find the following statements true and focused to the point.

        1. The number one way to get an account and keep an account as loyal as possible is to have a great reputation.

          2.  A referral base of peers who are constantly giving testimonials that are printed and published.

        3. Trust

        4. Education

        5. Consistent promotion. This does not have to be expensive. It needs to be consistent. 

        6. Offering a new product or service that is rare and can really only be found with your lab or a couple of labs.

        7.  Being widely recognized as a specialist of some awesome product or service. You would accomplish this by presenting to study clubs, writing articles, & speaking at seminars or large meetings.

        8. Trade shows and magazine ads are very expensive and must be very focused and have all of your other promotional advertising in tune with them so that every dollar spent is utilized. They must be part of a very organized plan, followed no matter what.

        9. With a very small marketing budget, it is within reach to build a very strong business. A challenging and fun way to tackle this undertaking is using the explosive growth card deck. It features most of the ways to contact a dentist and a dental office directly. It shows what to contact them with. It gives you the opportunity to set them in a certain order by date or to shuffle and use randomly as certain strategies appear.

You may never go golfing with him but, when you know that golfing is a favorite hobby, then his gifts should include things to do with golf. Make sure you celebrate his birthday. Certain holidays and other hobbies should also be included. Bond with him and his staff in every way you can think of. 

        13.  Clients are not loyal but the things talked about here will create as loyal of a client as possible. You will build a bond with him and his staff. Don't mess it up.

        EXAMPLE OF EFFECTIVE STEP BY STEP IDEAS TO MIMICK TRUST, REPUTATION, AND WHAT ACTIONS TO TAKE.

        1.  GO GET 2 TESTIMONIALS. THE BEST THING IS A VIDEO WITH THE CLIENT SAYING, YOU ARE THE BEST LAB HE HAS EVER USED. NEXT BEST IS A PICTURE WITH THE CAPTION UNDERNEATH. NEXT IS HIS NAME AND LOCATION WITH THE SAME CAPTION.

        2.  IN ALL OF YOUR DEALINGS AND SPEAKING WITH DENTAL OFFICES, STAY COMPLETELY TRUTHFUL.

        3.  FOR EDUCATION, LOOK INTO STARTING A STUDY CLUB OR AT LEAST JOINING ONE OR TWO STUDY CLUBS. IN ADDITION, WE WILL BE SETTING UP AND EXECUTING AN AMAZING BIG EVENT EVERY FOUR MONTHS.

        4.  STAY CONSISTENT WITH YOUR PROMOTION. EVERY MONDAY DO THE SAME THING, AND DO THE SAME THING.EVERY TUESDAY...

        5.  FIND SOMETHING THAT YOU ARE AMAZING AT PRODUCING. FOR EXAMPLE;  4 HOUR ZIRCONIA CROWNS.

        6.  RESEARCH AND STUDY A PRODUCT SUCH AS SCREW RETAINED, IMPLANT CROWNS OR COSMETICS. WRITE ARTICLES AND TEACH ON THESE SUBJECTS.

        7.  INTENTIONALLY BUILD A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH EACH CLIENT.

        As we learn more about building and growing a winning business, we also learn more about ourselves. Classes are kept small, from 1 to 5 participants. The course consists of 3 meetings of ninety minutes each, every Friday at noon, Mountain Standard Time.

        A LITTLE BACKGROUND ON SCOTT

        A close dentist friend asked Scott what he was going to do as a career. So, In 1977 Scott started his career in dentistry with his friend. By 1983 Scott had been an in-house technician for a leading dentist on Pankey-Dawson full mouth rehab for 4 years, owned his own growing lab for 2 years, and fabricated the very first feldspathic porcelain veneers in Utah. (Featured as a full page, close up, cosmetic breakthrough in the Utah Holiday Magazine!)

        By 1985 Scott was lecturing to large groups of dentists and dental technicians, as he taught about the breakthrough products of Jeneric Pentron.

        In Salt Lake City, Utah,  Scott owned the third largest lab While traveling and lecturing and developing new products for the dental field..

        He developed several new techniques and products to help dental technicians raise quality and speed up the workflow.

        In 1988 Scott developed, packaged, and marketed STARBRITE, the very first ADA Accepted, chairside tooth bleach. It was the #1 selling tooth bleach for 2 years. 

        While his laboratory grew, he developed whitening toothpastes, mouth washes, breath drops, and chap sticks.

        Scott built that laboratory up to over 1 million in annual revenue and sold it. He moved 300 miles away to the town he and his wife grew up in, and immediately started another dental laboratory.

        Scott stayed active in helping other laboratories with technical, work flow, and marketing problems, becoming known as a business consultant..

        He has lectured nationwide to groups and study clubs of dentists and technicians.

        Scott has written several magazine articles and been quoted in many more.  He wrote a bench top instruction manual for porcelain laminate veneers. Even in the mid-eighties, the manual sold over 1,000 copies. 

        Currently, Scott coaches 4 - 6 Laboratories at a time. He directs 3 highly successful study clubs and runs an 18 man laboratory.. He speaks nationally on a regular basis.
